Hi guys,

I have bought this tinned tuna from Spencer's. It's a small round shaped tin. What to do with it?

I wanted to make sandwiches with it. not sure if it'll taste like Subway's tuna sub.

Any ideas?

Once I got Salmon but it was stinking so badly that had to throw it away. So I didn't even open this Tuna thing.

Please advice,
Sushma

sushma...just open the can....

mash the tuna...chop one small onion, little bit of green chillies, some corriander leaves and mix it with the tuna...add a dash of lime juice and spread on sandwhich bread or bread roll...you could add lettuce leaves, and some tabasco sauce depends on how spicy you like your food...cheers!!

Open the tuna tin... trow away the brine or Veg oil.. mash it into small flakes with a fork.. Add fine chopped onions, green chillies, some jeera powder, chat masala powder and then knead it into a rough paste.

Option 1

Boil potatoes and mash them up with a little salt. Make tikkies out of it using the tuna mix as a filler.. shallow fry them for starters!!

Option 2

Make Stuffed parathas with it like you make Aloo or Gobi parathas.

Both of them taste awesome!!

If tuna is packed in brine, please wash a few times to get rid of the extremely salty and "tin" taste and flavor. If packed in oil-pat with paper towel to get rid of extra oil. Smell the tuna if it stinks throw away immediately.
