I was just typing out my culinary adventures in Mazgaon in another post and i wondered if anyone would be interested to explore the place further.
I have sampled some of the best Mughlai food and Fish Biryani in Cafe Gulzar, Cafe Bahar and had some of the best nan khatais there.We could couple it with a visit to the Ferry Wharf, as long as you dont mind he smell of fish. I remember seeing some small joints there too, which I had not explored.Let me know if you guys are interested and do share additional information.

there is one vegetarian thali mess at Matharpakhadi (Mazagaon) owned/run by a gent named Naik-Nimbalkar . . . . simple mill/dock worker fare . . . . . very home style . . . very nourishing . . . . very affordable food . . . . lemme try locate him coz i have lost contact since ages . . . . .
also alongside the kulfiwala (opposite Sai Niketan) there is some good quality chaat (ragda samosa and bhel junk food) . . . .
