Hi !
Returning after a long time.
Am about to relocate from Malabar Hills to Dadar
Can someone tell me where I can get genuine Feta cheese - the goat milk one in or near Dadar?

Thanks

the real Feta from Greece is made from ewe's milk . . . goat's milk elsewhere . . . . i did a little search and found that Dadar or wherever you are is not a constraint if you wish to make the cheese at home . . . .

Try Gangar stores at Dadar. He's pretty well stocked for 'fancy stuff'.
In Crawford mkt try Kishore Stores or Vera stores (they are on the 2nd corridor, to the left side if you enter from the Arife wala gate). Or you can try Eram's. This is the only air conditioned shop in the main Crawford mkt!! It is in the extreme left side after the fruit walas. In the second last corridor, I think. In case Eram's doesn't have it, you can place an order, he will get it for you. He has never failed me.

If you have money to waste, Feta is available at most 'delis'. The Patisserie at the Taj, Moshe's, Olive Bar & Kitchen, Hyatt Gourmet store, etc. It will cost you around 250% more than at Crawford mkt :)
